why is the book called the pacifist? When the word means diffrent from what I read?

Mehreen, you are clearly a prolific and accomplished writer. This may seem as an off the beat question, but what genre do you not enjoy writing as much (mine is mystery and romance, the dirtier ones, bleh)? Why?
Mehreen Ahmed I really don't know why. They have never really appealed to me the way literary fiction does. Although Horror can also be literary fiction such as Bram Stoker's Dracula.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Mehreen Ahmed I would go to any enchanting land of Tolkien's Rivendell. I would play the harp, and write my new book.

Mehreen Ahmed I have just sent out a novella on refugees to a publisher and working on my new novel.

How do you get inspired to write?
Mehreen Ahmed I look at rain, I get inspired, the wind and the sea and the rustling of the leaves. Besides these many western and eastern writers have shaped my thoughts and have molded me into a writer.
