E. Elizabeth Watson Hi Cathy! So sorry for not seeing this question sooner (like, a year ago...). I've never been as familiar with how Goodreads works as I am with other forms of social media. You know by now that The Maiden's Defender released last November :-) There are no more books in the series currently being written, however Two Brides for Ewan de Buchan, a Scottish historical that takes place in the same years as my Ladies of Scotland books, just released this week and I hope you check it out: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07....
E. Elizabeth Watson Start writing. Many people always "want to write a novel" but don't. Sit down and do it. Make mistakes, get critiques, read many, many books for pleasure and for research, find a writers' group, and practice. To quote my favorite Jedi, "do or do not, there is no try."
E. Elizabeth Watson Quite frequently, I start with an idea that has been forming in my mind for months, and as I write, new ideas evolve. When new ideas help the plot, I incorporate them into my manuscript. My story ideas mainly spring from my imagination and experiences, though period music and imagery of historical gowns, architecture, and landscapes also help inspire.
