As a young "author" who is trying to finish a book, do you have any advice on how to get the plot in order? For example; when you write, do you keep a clear picture of how you want the book to end or just start at the beginning and go from there? Thanks, OH! And I just finished your book Night Speed and LOVED IT!!!

Chris Howard Hey Zuzanna -- Thanks for reading Night Speed... I'm glad you enjoyed it! I typically have a clear idea of what I want the characters in the story to learn or how they might need to "change" over the course of the story. That usually helps me figure out the beginning and ending... but then I like to make up stuff as I go in-between :)

I spent two hours trying to remember the book name "Rootless" which I read when I was in Kansas (US) in 2013-2014. I am back now in India from 2014 and somehow I was just trying to recollect the name of the book. So I googled with few key words like "corn, metal, tree etc." and I am here :-) I think I also wrote an email with my feedback on that book. Now I see that all other sequels are available (but not in India ?)

Really enjoyed Rootless, just finished The Rift and can't wait for more! The twists & turns, the relate-able characters, the unexpected surprises, surviving in a broken world. Your world building, science, characters, mythology, all of it weaves together to create a very compelling tale. When can we expect the final book of Banyan's adventure trilogy?

So glad you enjoyed the first two books of the ROOTLESS trilogy, and I have good news... the third and final book, THE RECKONING, will be out pretty soon! Before the end of March, I hope. I believe any fan of the series will find this a truly epic conclusion to Banyan's adventure. It does not pull any punches. And I hope you enjoy it :)
