Hi Skye, I bought The Pawn a few days ago and I'm in love, I read it until 7:30 AM and that same day I went to the bookstore to buy The Knight and The Castle. I would really like to read a book about Damon Scott, but unfortunately I can't find this book or any of the other books in my language (Czech). May I ask how books are selected for translation and if your other books will be translated?

Skye Warren Not really! The closest one would probably Hold You Against Me which has sort of an arranged / forced marriage in a mafia romance.

I bought Beauty and the Professor in Hardcover and I was waiting for Falling for the Beast to come out in Hardcover, but it's still in paperback only. Do you know if it will be available in hardcover? I know a lot of fans who love their collection to match and I sooooo want this series to match. I hope to see you again at another bookbonanaza event in the future.

Skye Warren Thank you so much, Alexandra! I'm partial to Mating Theory because it just came out and it can be read as a standalone! Especially if your friend loves sexy contemporary romance with a taboo/forbidden edge. Then again a lot of readers start at The Pawn, and it's free on most retailers, so she can always head there. Gabriel Miller is a fan favorite.

I'm working on Diamond in the Rough right now, which is a dangerous contemporary romance featuring a character from the North Security trilogy - Elijah, Liam's brother. Each one of my books feels like a risk in a completely different way, but I think that's what tells me I'm on the right track. I don't want writing to ever feel safe. I hope that you check out Overture, if you're new to the North brothers!

Firstly, big fan of your books .Although i have only read two so far i have loved them very much and can't wait to go through more of your work.One of the reasons why your books were so enjoyable to read was your characters and so i was wondering how you came up to develop such interesting and intriguing fictional individuals ? Thank you indavance for answering my question and congratulations for your new release.

Skye Warren Thank you so much, Georgiana!! I love characters. That's what comes to me first. A person. A feeling they have. Their whole history comes to me before anything that happens in the book. When I'm writing I feel like I'm walking through the world in their shoes, finding out what happens alongside the reader. With Mating Theory I was really worried that readers would find facets of Sutton or Ashleigh too different, but I think that's also what makes the book feel real and interesting. They are fully fleshed out, with all the intensity and emotion of an individual.

Skye Warren Yes! Diamond in the Rough comes out this summer. It's already on pre order, and it's a dark and suspenseful romance. You'll learn so much more about Elijah there.

Hello! I'm new to your books but I enjoy a dark romance and your stories sound very intriguing! I'm just a bit confused about the order and how the series intertwine. Is there a specific order to read them? And will I get confused if I don't read them in the proper order?(Sorry that's two questions, haha) I'm looking forward to reading my way through your entire collection!

Hi Skye, I came upon your books a couple of days ago and already read The Escort, Trust Fund and The Pawn. I quickly realized, that all of them are set around the same group of characters and wondered if there was a certain order in which to read the books / series? And which other books / series are set within the same "world".

Skye Warren Hi Kim! Thank you so much for reading. That's a great idea - I'm going to make a reading list to share soon, but in the meantime - the novella that kicks off the ride to Tanglewood is Tough Love, which is the first in the Stripped series, most of these can be read as a standalones though. Then there's the Endgame trilogy (The Pawn, The Knight, and The Castle) and the Masterpiece duet (The King, The Queen). Escort is a standalone set in the same world. And Survival of the Richest and The Evolution of Man are the new duet! The order that they're mentioned here is the order that they were published.
