I don't really get writer's block...at least not as I understand others do. Rather, I lose interest, which feels like a shame but may be a blessing. Best not to finish unfinishable books.

Another fairy tale of sorts about a horrible, cranky centenarian who is also very funny, in her own curmudgeonly way. It will be for adults. Especially cranky, curmudgeonly adults with wicked sense of humour.

I wouldn't call it "inspired" as much as I'd say "hijacked". It certainly feels that way, anyway. The urge (muse?), strikes and you're done for. There's no way out but through. A year or so later, you come up for air and wonder what the heck happened!

Well, my little brother was having twins. Or, his lovely wife was. Really, they both were! And, I can't knit. I've tried. It's hopeless. I really wanted to give the babies something personally crafted by me, just for them. So, I thought: a fairy story! Why not? And "Neverdark" was born.
