It was a short story challenge. I was asked to write a short story for Halloween. It turned out not to be a horror story in the end, but it was creepy enough for younger audiences in the first chapter.

It literally all began with a dream. I had this dream over and over. A friend said to write it out to purge it from my mind. I did. The scene expanded into a few scenes. Then it became a novella. After a few weeks, I added enough scenes to write a trilogy.

That is not an easy question to answer. I am usually working on half a dozen at once. Yes, ther eis one that is my focus, but there are so many others that get my attention. My main focus right now to finish up the complete frist draft of a YA supernatural story ccurrently called Attic Vista. That can currently be found on Wattpad where I'm seeking comments on the plot.

Be slow in acting on the advice given. There is sooooo much out there. I thought I had to listen to all, especially when they came from experienced writers. I fell over and over. They didn't all work for me, or they were not clearly explained. You need to be methodical and experimental. And remember that there is no tried and true formula.

The fact that I can make happen anything I want. There are no limits. Yes, there are certain ones I need stay within with certain stories but that is only for the details to be accepted by readers. I can make anyone a villan or a hero. I can be anywhere at anytime in history or in the future.

It all depends. There are times to just push through it mainly because it is just our excuse to avoid writing. Other times, we are trying too hard and need to pull back to let our mind clear.
