Sherri Shackelford Yes! Is the short answer. The full answer is my books are Christian fiction lite. My characters are Christians and they have struggles, but the suspense plot and the love story are the main focus. I hope that helps?!

Are you finished writing books for the Prairie Courtships series?

Sherri Shackelford Sadly, yes. The line I wrote for, Love Inspired Historical, has closed. With no more contracts forthcoming, I'm moving into contemporary suspense. I adored writing about Cimarron Springs for the Prairie Courtships series, but all good things must come to an end!

I'm really looking forward to new challenges :) I hope you'll come along for the journey!

hey Sherri I just started reading a family for the holidays and im confused. why is there a picture of a girl on the cover but there are 2 boys in the story?

Sherri Shackelford Great question, Val! The story is all about the deception of appearances and looking beyond the superficial. Keep reading! Not everyone is who they seem. Here's a hint: Keep an eye on the pronouns. One of the characters knows the truth, and that character tries to be careful about the pronouns they use. Don't give the secret away once you find out the truth :) !!

Hey Sherri I loved special delivery baby just finished reading it in fact and I was wondering if you or one of the other ladies who wrote the series are going to go back to cowboy creek and write more stories based on the people who live there or is it a 3 and done series? Val

Sherri Shackelford Cheryl & I each wrote a novella in 2-in-1 book out in November called, "Cowboy Creek Christmas." My novel is, "Mistletoe Bride" and Cheryl's is called, "Mistletoe Reunion". I'll send you a copy as soon as I get them!

Ms. Sherri Everyone is fine here. I did want to tell you I have read Ms. Fords books (a lot in fact) and Ms. St John has a place on my bookshelf also. Is there any specific titles I should check out? I will be checking out the other authors you mentioned and is there any specific titles of theirs I should read? Thanks again for the signed copy of the engagement bargain.
