Great question! My favorite fictional couple is Eve and Roarke, from J.D. Robb's In Death series. Love the fire, the heat, and the way they care for each other. What I love most is how they are healing each other, by loving, and living.

I don't really get writer's block - too many stories roaming around in my head. :) But there are times when I get stuck in a story. Usually it'd because I went off on a tangent and hit a dead end. This is where my outline comes in handy - I just backtrack, until the story starts working again.

For me, it's telling the stories in my head, and sharing them with other people. The sheer creativity and joy of playing with words, building fresh new worlds, and setting my characters loose. I just love writing, period.

Write every day. Read writing books - I still find and read new writing and craft books, and learn more every day about my craft and how to improve it. Trust your voice. Learn how to outline - even if you never do it more than once, try it, just to see how well it does or doesn't work for you. And enjoy the process!

I am working on several things at the moment - my fantasy series, a new sci fi romance series, more books for the Zach Wiche series. I am also plotting a new YA time travel series for the fall, and an adventure romance series I am quite excited about!

The need to get stories out of my head and on to the page. I love words, and I love meeting my characters for the first time, getting to know their stories. Just the whole process of creating inspires me!

I love fantasy, grew up reading it, and this series has been in my head for a long time. Most of my books are already running through my head by the time I write them down, and this was no exception. I wish I could type fast enough to keep up.:)
