Pam Funke That's a hard question to answer as I have an extensive TBR pile. My choice however will be from James Patterson, Melanie Dickerson, Harlen Coben, Joel C Rosenberg, and Ruthie Madison just to name a few.
Pam Funke Hi Carol. The idea for Sammy came while I was at the sea turtle museum on Jekyll Island while I was watching this adorable little turtle swimming around in his aquarium. He was just the cutest little thing and I thought 'Wouldn't he make a great story character?'
Pam Funke Hello Melanie. Operation Dark Angel: The Rise of Nicolaitanes actually took me the longest to write. It took me a little over a year to complete. Part of the reason why it took so long to write was because the job I was working at the time required more hours as well as my youngest child was still in school.
Pam Funke I've actually not had the experience of writer's block.
Pam Funke I got the idea of A Valley Experience from listening to various teenagers that I know and from talking with some abused women that I know. Abuse goes on every single day and many times these women feel as though there is no hope or end to their situation. I wanted to let them know that there is hope; that they can get out of their situation.
Pam Funke My advice to aspiring writers is to take a leap of faith and just write. If it is something you are truly passionate about by all means finish your story, poetry, etc and get it published.
Pam Funke Listening to gospel music or just enjoying some time outside with God always inspires me to write.
Pam Funke The best part about being a writer is hearing back from readers how much they enjoyed the book.
Pam Funke I am currently working on two books. The Return of Nicolaitanes is the third installment of my Apocalypse series. Josh's Wild Imagination is an unique children's book.
