With wings on her heels, she raced to the rooftop, tripping as the railing came into sight. A piercing scream escaped her lips as she felt the monster's grip tightening around her slender wrist.

I would like to go to the Yorkshire Dales, where James Herriot's books were set, and travel around with him. I would especially like to meet Mrs Pumphrey and Trick Woo.

Because I'm currently focussed on writing JAFF, much of my reading consists of revisiting the works of Jane Austen. I would, however, like to read 'Matilda' over the coming months. (Winter, here in Australia.)

Sorry, this question falls into the 'too hard' basket.

Darcy and Elizabeth spring instantly to mind. Despite an inauspicious start to their relationship, their love blossoms through all circumstances.

Sorry, I cannot afford to pay for promotions.

You are right in that my books are high quality literature, but unfortunately I cannot afford to pay for promotions.

I like to read Regency stories. I'm also very interested in the 1950's, and many of my recently-written eBooks are set during this era.

Thank you for your question. At present I'm concentrating on the promotion of my titles. I finished writing 'Uncertain Love' in early February, and it was published soon afterwards. We decided then to combine it with 'Of Love and Secrets', which had been first published in 2015, in a romance anthology entitled 'Love, Now and Then'. Unfortunately, so far, neither title has attracted a wide readership - but then, it's early days, and a very highly respected Australian reviewer has praised each of these titles, so maybe someone will spread the word. :).

I have never been overseas so I must base my answer solely on what I've experienced here.
The beaches are beautiful, and in Sydney at least, the water temperature makes ocean swimming possible almost year round.
Areas of bushland have been set aside as parks, and this creates refuges for birds and animals. Australia is home to some of the world's most delightful parrots.
We also have our share of cultural facilities. The Sydney Opera House is situated to overlook Sydney Harbour.
All in all, Australia is a great place in which to live.

My current focus is the promotion of my works--I have eleven titles, including a new release: 'Love, Desire and Betrayal', which has already been listed as #1 Amazon Kindle Paid Bestsellers List, Australian and Oceanian Literature..
On another note, I am learning to drive a car: something I had never previously attempted.
So, life is interesting, challenging and diversified.
Since writing the above, life has moved on. A couple of years ago I started writing Jane Austen Fan Fiction, which has found a market. My total number of published titles is currently forty-three. And yes, I have a Driver's Licence. :)

I write only when my mind is clear and I can focus on the project. It isn't particularly taxing to think up a basic storyline. The hard work comes in writing it, day after day. But the reward--a completed manuscript-- is fantastic.

'Love, Desire and Betrayal' actually evolved of itself. The four works comprising it were written over a period of about a year. Although the plots and characters are all quite different, each story contained a number of vital similarities that enabled the entire work to have a unified feel. In particular, each story delved into the themes of love, desire and betrayal.

First ask yourself: what is my motive?
If your answer is that you are driven by the desire to do it, then give it everything you have.
If your answer is that you wish to make money, then I suggest you look for an easier, more reliable method.

I enjoy being able to create and resolve situations-- which in itself is something that is not so easily attainable in real life. Creating characters is another appealing aspect of fiction-writing. The best characters are those with multiple traits that make them imperfect--just like the rest of humanity.

I have never suffered from writer's block. When I decide that I want to start a new project, I will focus on coming up with an idea.
