I'd love to live on the Yorkshire Dales and around the NE where some of my favourite crime novels are set (Vera series, books by Peter Robinson etc). I'd walk from coast to coast along Hadrian's Wall and imagine what it was like in Roman times (Vindolanda).

I bribe myself by saying "just write one page". I find writing poetry helps a lot with writing reluctance/fear. To me, a block is really just being afraid that what I write will be awful, so I try to get past that by writing something or anything!

I often have an accountability partner - we set writing goals and try to inspire each other to write regularly and check in. If I'm stuck, a long walk helps, and if I need inspiration of a different kind, I go to the movies!
