Jennifer Quintenz Carole, thank you so much for the question! A few years ago I started a graphic novel miniseries that was supposed to be 6 issues long, but the publisher lost financing after the first issue came out. I've always wanted to tell this story, and I think it would make for a great series. So--unless I settle on one of the other series ideas I've been kicking around--I think my next project will be "The Bond of Saint Marcel."

Here's the premise: Katherine Johnstone is the black sheep of an old Boston family whose wealth and influence stretch back to the American Revolution. When Kat’s family is slaughtered, she discovers the only one who can save her from the same fate is Eamann—a vampire that was bonded into her family’s service against its will 200 years ago. As they run from the killers, Kat and Eamann form an unlikely friendship. But their friendship is tested when they discover the killers are only hunting Kat in order to set Eamann free.
Jennifer Quintenz Thank you, Selina! I have good news... I'm almost done! Writing chapter 18 today, hope to finish the draft next week. From there it will take 1-2 months to proof and deal with all the publishing details, but I expect it will be available before the end of August. It's been a bit emotional for me, actually, as I wrap up Braedyn's saga. :) Can't wait to share the end of the story with you.
Jennifer Quintenz Hello Ashlee! Thanks so much for writing. Okay, here's the story: I was working on "Kin" when I got hired to write for the last season of MTV's "Teen Wolf" which was a truly amazing experience. We have since wrapped production, and I am back at work on "Kin," but the publishing date has been moved to this summer. I know I need to update the website, thank you for the gentle push. Hope you're having a great May (almost June!) and thank you so much for reading. I'm actually writing on the novel today, so I should probably get back to that... :) Happy reading! Best, Jenn Q
Jennifer Quintenz Yes, "Kin" (book 5) is the final book in the "Daughters of Lilith" series. That being said... while Braedyn and Lucas and Cassie and Royal won't be starring in any more books, one or more of them may make an appearance in the next series which takes place in the same "universe" (i.e., our world, only with supernatural creatures skulking about.) I'm very excited about the conclusion to this series!
Jennifer Quintenz Kat! Hello hello! I've been good--busy, but good. How about you and Josh? Any new Titanium Rain volumes? I'm getting ready to release my 4th book next week, so there's lots of work to do. Thanks for dropping by to say hello. Miss you guys. I was at SDCC for 2 days, doing signings on the "Empower: Fight Like A Girl" anthology. I made it to the floor for all of an hour, I think. Hopefully we'll manage to catch up in person again one of these days...
Jennifer Quintenz Hello, Jacey! I am long overdue for a progress report, so thank you for the gentle nudge.

Book 4 (Guardian) is completely outlined, and Book 5 (Kin) is almost completely outlined--I just reread the outlines again yesterday and I cannot wait to get started on the drafts. What's holding me back is a new writing job that I am equally excited about--it came up very suddenly, though, and so it has side-tracked the Daughters series for a little while longer, much to my chagrin.

Let's see... what can I tell you about what's in store for Braedyn and her friends that won't give too much away? How about this:

- Braedyn is about to meet Terrance Clay, the "old school" head of the Guard who is charming, manipulative, and ruthless.

- Braedyn will learn some things about Murphy's past that he doesn't want her to know--because he fears it might permanently damage their relationship.

- Braedyn's loyalty to the Guard will be tested when she's forced to choose between obeying orders and protecting the ones she loves.

I know that's not much to go on, but I'd hate to give away too much. As I said, I am so eager to get back to work on this series! We're so close to the end now... I hope to get these books out one after the other as soon as possible, hopefully both in 2016. I wish I had a firmer release date, but it will depend on how things go with this current writing job.

Thank you so much for the question, and for reading, Jacey! Hope you have a wonderful week.

Best,
Jenn Q
