Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

R.G. Stern It's hard to say favorite, but certainly one of the most memorable fictional couples are Herb and Lorna Piper from Eric Kraft's somewhat forgotten, "Herb 'n' Lorna". A brilliant satire of conformist 1950's America and it's secretive eroticism and whimsical cynicism, Herb and Lorna are the grandparents everyone should want to have for their own.
