I can't actually think of an answer to that! However, I have always loved reading, and the fact that words on a page could take me off to anywhere in the world, real or not, has always fascinated me.

That really depends on what I'm writing. Sometimes I just dive in and have to stop every now and then to look up details. Other times, when I've planned more out before I start, I've done all my research. Most of my research is done online. I usually find out much more than I ever use!

It sounds stupid but I make myself write. Anything. If I'm stuck on a specific scene I'll sit and have a think about where it's going and something usually comes to me. Sometimes I'll do some writing prompts or read through my notes a few times. I'm stubborn even when it comes to writing. I don't let writer's block win!

I am currently working on my After trilogy.
If all goes to plan I will complete book two in the summer and plan all of book three during autumn/winter ready to pick up book three in spring. All the while I'm polishing Thereafter (book one) and getting everyone excited about it. Though no one is more excited than me!
