I'm hoping to finally read longer fantasy fiction. I've been a fan of light romance fiction for a long time now (it makes me happy, and I love the comedy and chemistry), but books like Shadow and Bone are calling my name more than ever. It'll be a good way for me to avoid having my eyes on my computer screen for too long.

Write every day! Let it be a couple of sentences or a whole chapter. Journal. Get your thoughts moving. Also, please please please write down any cool, nifty ideas you have. I have suffered by the many times I have forgotten a super unique idea because I didn't write it down. Keep a journal on you!

I cry. Then, I stop crying and listen to either my death metal, classical, or feminist pop playlist. If I'm in a certain mood, I'll put in aggressive Russian rap. I do not discriminate. Seriously, music helps.

Judging by my awful combat skills, I wouldn't last one minute in a horror book. That leads me to Narnia. Why wouldn't I want to meet talking animals?
