Jane Harvey-Berrick Hi Mae,
Thank you so much for your lovely message - that's such an honour. Dear, sweet Luka - he so desperately needs to be loved. I'm afraid that I haven't added any books to the series BUT you can find out more about Luka and Yveta on my website. There's a FREE short story about them at this link:

Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks again,

Jane Harvey-Berrick Hi Terry,
I turned 'Fifty Shades of Taylor' into the two-book series GUARDING THE BILLIONAIRE (https://geni.us/GUARDINGBILLIONAIRE ) and SAVING THE BILLIONAIRE (https://geni.us/SAVINGtheBILLIONAIRE ). They're both in Amazon's KU program.

I've taken down all my other fanfic stories. I guess I could put them on my website, but I haven't made any decision about that yet. Thank you for asking though! Nice surprise :)

Jane Harvey-Berrick Hi Jerri,
Are you referring to GUARDING/SAVING THE BILLIONAIRE? These become live on 9 and 19 June 2019.

And by the way, none of my books are available to read online, so if you see that, please tell me, because it's a pirate copy!!

Thank you,

jx
Jane Harvey-Berrick Hi Lia,
Yes, I did have a problem with my website when I was transferring the host, but it's back up and running again now. Thank you!

Jane Harvey-Berrick We're definitely thinking of doing a series of novellas set at the Finchley Phoenixes rugby stadium ;)
Jane Harvey-Berrick I think the first part of your question is easier to answer - independent publishing! Amazon can launch you and you don't need a traditional publisher.

The second part of your question is harder. The only way to think of it (in my opinion) is this: look in the mirror - that's your competition. There's no point comparing yourself with anyone else. Let your writing be you.

But if you're lacking in ideas, that's the real problem. The only thing I can suggest is to carry a notebook EVERYWHERE. Write down small things that you hear or see, snatches of conversation, things that make you smile or sad. Maybe from this an idea will occur.

I hope that this is helpful.

Good luck!

Jane Harvey-Berrick Provided I could travel back again as well, I'd head to Pemberley to see what it is about Fitzwilliam Darcy.

And then maybe I'd drop in on Gulliver while he discovered new lands, then drop by Seattle to have dinner with Christian Gray. I'd want to know if I could see those fires burning below the surface.

And then home in time to give my little dog her bedtime treat.

Perfect day!
Jane Harvey-Berrick The lost love ... if only I'd spoken as I watched him walk away, not knowing it would be the last time I ever saw him...
Jane Harvey-Berrick Anne Elliott and Captain Wentworth in Jane Austen's PERSUASION. The archetypal second-chance romance, and so beautifully written.
Jane Harvey-Berrick Hi!
I suppose the short answer is that I became more interested in developing my own stories. But I made sure that I finished all three books from Taylor's POV - that alone was 140,000 words, and 'Fifty From Twenty' was 70,000 words - that's about 3 full length novels LOL Let alone all the short stories.

But you're right, I didn't finish 'Paging Dr Flynn' or 'Fifty From Twenty', but I hope you enjoyed what was there.

Jane Harvey-Berrick Oh gosh! I've only just seen this message - I don't know why!! So sorry.

Hmm, more LUKA. It's possible. I think Yveta's story needs to be told, but the story isn't quite there yet. Maybe!!

But I'm really glad you enjoyed the story. Thank you! jx
Jane Harvey-Berrick Sure, but as I said, it's waaay down the list! jx
Jane Harvey-Berrick I started the process and got signed up to Audible, did a sample script and then sat back to see if any actors wanted to audition for it on a profit-share scheme. But it seems you have to actively scout people to see if they'd be interested.
I don't have the time to do that right now, and all my books are longish, so it's a lot of work for actors.
So I haven't got much further.
But other authors I know swear by it.
It's still on my to-do list...
jx
Jane Harvey-Berrick Well, you get to see more of Zef in THE TRAVELING MAN and THE TRAVELING WOMAN.

I have thought about giving him his own book, Mylena. And if a story occurs, then I will. But I sort of feel like I've already written the ex-con story with LIFERS. But Zef isn't the kind of guy to take it laying down, so never say never!!

Thanks so much for asking :) jx
Jane Harvey-Berrick I'm sorry but I don't have a date yet. This would be my first audiobook and it's been a little more complicated than I'd expected. So it'll be a while ... but it's firmly on the to-do list!!

Thank you,
jx
Jane Harvey-Berrick It's something I'm looking in to, but it'll be a while off yet. Your question (which I've only just seen for some reason - apologies!) has prompted me to get back to sorting it out!! Thank you! jx

Jane Harvey-Berrick Hi there,

Yes and no. In November I'm publishing 'Semper Fi: The Education of Caroline'. It's book 2, but written from Sebastian's pov. It will include and unseen bonus chapter.

Hope this explains everything. Thanks for your question!

jx

PS In October, both 'The Education of Sebastian' and 'The Education of Caroline' will be published by a Brazilian author in Portuguese
Jane Harvey-Berrick Thank youoooo! Really happy that you enjoyed it! I did think that there was room for more of Clare's experiences living in Hollywood and Miles' clueless (but hot) meandering around LA. And I can't help thinking that Lilia isn't finished yet ... but I don't have anything planned :( But ya never know - one day!!! jx
Jane Harvey-Berrick I have! Can't say too much yet, but look out for announcement in a couple of months ;)
