With Maxx Fragg, V.P.I., I just found the prospect of merging the virtual and paranormal worlds fascinating. With the constant advances in technology and our lives becoming more and more hard wired to our personal devices and social media, the idea of the line between these two worlds being blurred seems more plausible than ever before.

I'm always working. That's the fun of this gig. I just finished up a middle grade fantasy novel and I'm half way into a new horror / sci-fi book. I have a few new projects that I'm working on with American Mythology that I'm hoping will be out in 2016 and of course I'm already working on a sequel to Maxx Fragg, V.P.I.

Read, write, repeat. Don't give up and make sure you're telling the story that you want to tell.

A writer gets to live in the world they've created for months at a time during the creative process as opposed to devouring a favorite book in a few days or a week. I also love meeting and talking to readers and making new fans along the way whether that's on social media or in person at conventions and book fairs.

I take a page from Dory from Finding Nemo - just keep writing. Even when you have to squeeze the words out, if you keep plugging along, I find inspiration and ideas start forming. Or you can just follow this simple formula - read, write, repeat.
