C. Toni Graham I would most definitely travel to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where I would seek out Professors to train me in all magical things. I would partake in the house sorting ritual, although it would be a bit odd to share a dormitory with children and teens, it would be merely to see if I'm more suited for Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. Touring the school to tryout the moving staircases and converse with the portraits would be a thrill as would hanging out in the potions class. Sitting in the dining hall to experience a lavish feast as mail-by-owl is taking place would be the topper.
C. Toni Graham Ideas are like the wind for me. They rise and swirl, picki up debris along the way, and scatter them about. I have no idea of the origin for my most recent book. I just went in the direction the words and my characters carried me.
C. Toni Graham Inspiration comes when I least expect it. I like being around children and their chaos ((laughter, singing, dancing, etc.). For whatever reason, it keeps me charged. I also get inspired when I'm near books. I love writing while sitting in the cafe at Barnes and Noble. Noise doesn't seem to hinder, but actually helps with my inspiration.
C. Toni Graham I've completed book two in the series and now laying the framework for the final installment in the series.
C. Toni Graham Write...don't judge it, just write. Editing and rewrites will come, just capture your story first. Save everything you compose and remember that writing is an art form. No one can tell your story better than you. Keep reading, always have a book (other than yours) around as this will quiet your mind.
C. Toni Graham There are countless things I enjoy as a writer, but the biggest thrill is when I've written a compelling scene that causes emotions to stir within me. Writing an emotional scene or having dialogue exchange that makes my heart sing...well, there's nothing greater than that.
C. Toni Graham I've never experienced writers block. I find there are days when the writing flows easy, and other times it slows, but there's never a block. The subject matter or the action of the scene controls my writing pace. I find as long as I'm at the computer or have pen and paper, I'm able to write.
