Rob Vitaro I create my own world - geography, people, history, culture. It's amazing.
Rob Vitaro I haven't had to deal with this much yet. Most of the planning is done in my head long before I sit down to write. There are times when I can't think of a name for something, and rather than get bogged down in that kind of minutia, to keep flowing I just put a place holder in there (example: @uglyGuy) and I can replace it later.
Rob Vitaro Book 2 of the Ora Saga, tentatively titled "The Lost Ones." It takes place in the western part of Sirith, the Valerin Isles, and is told from the perspective of a character from book 1 and a new character.
Rob Vitaro The book started as a video game concept. I was going to program a role-playing game involving a quest to save the world from demonic creatures invading from another world. Once I decided to make a novel out of it, the story matured into something more intricate, and I realized it needed to be more than one book.
Rob Vitaro Usually by reading other books, playing video games, or watching movies. Being exposed to good stories always seem to spawn new stories in me.
