Honestly, I dont. I've found that the more I try to make myself write, the worse it gets. I turn to something else like searching for quotes on the topic; reading other books; or doing some other fun thing I enjoy like spending time with my sons. Usually, the break removes the pressure and things start flow again after a few days or even weeks sometimes.

You get to share your inspiration with the world-literally. With the Internet and self publishing there are no limits. You can spread the Good News to anyone who has access. The creative process is great. Turning a thought into a tangible book. It's a beautiful fulfilling life.

Never quit. I was encouraged by a seasoned writer to just write magazine articles and think about writing books later. I didn't follow that advice. Thank God, I followed my passion to become a Christian personal development/self help book author. I love what I do. If you love what you write, keep writing it. Self-publish if you have to. There are people who want to read what you write. Keep writing. Be open to feedback, but don't let negative comments hinder your desires to succeed.

Everyday life. Something will happen at home; with my kids; or even at the market that sparks an inspirational devotion, message, or good idea for a title. Sometimes the situations are funny and I can't wait to share.

The new book, Negative Self-talk Expanded Edition is a new in depth version of the first Self Talk book, which because of its popularity, caught the attention of a Destiny Image Publishers and is now available wherever books are sold. It's very exciting. I know people are going to love the expanded version as much as the first Self Talk book. They can read more at SelfTalkBook.com.
