Hi Zoe, I just finished The Way You Bite. It was the first book of your I have read and I really enjoyed it. I was just wondering if there will be a sequel? The book ended as if it would but I notice it was released in 2017 and on Good Reads there is no series noted so I thought I would ask you directly. Happy New Year. Dannielle
Zoe Forward The sequel, Nightshade's Bite, is releasing March 15, 2021!

In the first Keepers of the Veil book, whose destined is the third guy allowed up to the circle?
Zoe Forward So glad you brought this up. This is the 7th Pleiades descendant whom we haven't met yet in any of the books. But her story is coming, hopefully next year.

Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
Zoe Forward My computer died. The apple genius can't recover anything.

Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?
Zoe Forward My favorite entertaining couples are Morticia and Gomez Addams from The Addams Family. Hard to find a more passionate couple than Gomez and Morticia Addams. In the words of Gomez, “I would die for her. I would kill for her. Either way, what bliss.”

Zoe: Several of my friends have trouble with confidence (I sometimes do too) in general. So I thought I'd ask a few writers this very straight forward, open question... What shakes your confidence? In the realm of writing, or otherwise. What tends to foster it? Thanks.
Zoe Forward We writers all have low days...and high days. As writers we take risks. Sometimes we're not sure about them or we'll have critics who are tough on us. But we have to write what works, and what the characters need for us to write. In my genre people sometimes expect the writing to fit into a certain and exact model. However, I try to push the limits by writing about new kinds of supernatural creatures and weave in interesting and new stories. It requires a lot of world building and a lot of research, especially for my Greek Gods in the Keepers of the Veil (witch) series. And, it's just so much fun. So, there are tough days when I get lost. No doubt.
That's why it's important to have a team on your side such as a writing partner or two who understand and can help you remember why we do this...because it's what we love.
