Showstring is my latest release, and was a re-release from an earlier short story. As a kid--heck as an adult--I love going to the fairs. The animals, exhibits, food and fun, I always found it a great place to relax and have fun. So Showstring is a continuation of that feeling, but for someone for who the decisions have consequences.

My inspiration is usually some tale I heard or a snippet of information. They form a basic structure that the stories develops from. Sometimes the story develops in my mind for months until I begin to put thoughts to paper. I have one story that's developing nicely. A cowboy and a doctor in the high plains.

Believe it or not the first one that comes to mind is Harry Potter and Hermione. Why? I think it was watching them grow up and make it through all the struggles.

I love creating situations or even whole worlds where things happen the way I'd like for them to happen. Writing is the ultimate control issue.

Right now I'm working on the final edits for my first fantasy novel. Obsidian Sun is a rescue story with an iron age setting. An interesting world with a very interesting magic system.
