Monica Shaughnessy From Edgar Allan Poe, of course! I'm a big fan of his work. So when I found out he had a tortoiseshell cat named Cattarina, I wondered if she supplied him with inspiration for his work. How could she not? So each story in my series centers around one of his stories - The Tell-Tale Heart, The Black Cat, etc.
