I do 1 of 2 things, depending on where I'm at. If I'm in the middle of a scene and it stalls, I'll backtrack or delete a little and start again. If I'm starting a new scene I'll open a blank document and simply start typing. Sometimes it takes a couple of starts but it usually shakes something loose. For me a new doc seems to relieve some of the pressure that a work in progress holds.

I don't know, really. I have a busy brain and random ideas are always coming to me. I wish I had the time I need to complete a quarter of them.

I'm nearly finished with my side project. It's a book I've had in my head for way too long. I love the way it's coming together. I'm almost to the hardest part-choosing a title!
