Beth Rinyu Thank you so much! Yes, it was very hard. I was so conflicted, and almost went with the traditional HEA because I was afraid that ending wouldn't resonate with readers. But I knew in my heart that their love story was difficult and unique, so the ending had to fit the rest of the story. After a little pep talk from my husband, who convinced me to take the chance and go for it, I stuck with my original plan. I think with a few exceptions, most readers, despite their tears were happy with the ending.
Beth Rinyu The Constant Princess and maybe a few others from the Tudor series. I'm currently obsessed with those stories after watching the White Princess.

Beth Rinyu Hi there!! Happy New Year! I'm so sorry, I'm just seeing this now. Thank you so much for your kind words!! The ending of Easy Silence was as hard for me to write as it was for readers to read. I wanted to do something unique for this story. I didn't think the traditional HEA would work well with these characters, being that Jax was so broken, but I didn't want to leave the readers feeling slighted after taking that harrowing journey with them. So, I like to call the ending bittersweet. I almost chickened out, and even thought about writing an alternate HEA to stick in the back of the book, but I'm so glad that I didn't. To me that's what makes this story stand out and not like the traditional good girl meets bad boy young adult novels. My hopes were that the epilogue would give the reader a sense of peace once they get past the tears.
Beth Rinyu Hey Shellie! I really haven't. Although I love reading mysteries and suspense type books I don't think I would ever be able to write one. I grew up reading Mary Higgins Clark and I always envied her talent. Maybe one day I will challenge myself!
Beth Rinyu Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed them. I'm currently working on book one of a three book series and loving these characters so much! So there will be lots to look out for in 2015 :)
