I haven't yet written an historical fiction. However, I am proud of my first novel, an inspirational fiction based upon the early life of a wonderful friend of mine, Boikanyo Trust Phenyo. It is entitled 'Eleven Miles.' Check it out.

My favourite genre to read is historical fiction. I would love to be able to write top class historical fiction. What I like most about it is that the scenes, the dialogues, bring dry historical events to life.
I try to do the same with my own writing and that is why I love to write inspirational fiction . I take an event or the story of a person who inspires me, as the core true story and then weave fiction around it to make it more interesting for my readers.

Hi Colin. All I can remember is that he was called Max or Mac. We lived in Anstruther in Fife at the time. He told me that he had once been in serious trouble for flying under the central arch of Forth Rail Bridge but I suspect that he was telling me a tall tale. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

As I regained consciousness, I realised that I was naked, tied to a tree and smothered in beef gravy. The wolves that surrounded me were licking their lips and baring their sharp fangs.

I would go to the Cemetery of Forgotton Books as created by Carlos Ruiz Zafón and first described in The Shadow of the Wind. This is one of my favourite books. The atmosphere is wonderful and totally captivating.
