I’m glad to see that you also did not enjoy the very popular A Gentleman in Moscow. And I am curious: What are some of your favorite novels?
Ruth Bavetta I can't answer that. There are just too many, I'm overwhelmed by the idea of trying to come up with a list! I just finished A History of Loneliness by John Boyne, which I liked a lot.

Ruth Bavetta Once or twice, to no avail. I don’t think my style is compatible with their æsthetic.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Ruth Bavetta Well for one thing, I used to be a painter. Unsold poetry is a whole lot easier to store than unsold paintings. :)

Glad to hear from you, Ruth. Life had a way of taking away my time and energy to write much but there's always a tomorrow. As I said in my previous message to you, I was amazed at how powerful some of the suggestions were and how much better they made the poems. I hope to take it up again some time soon. Hi, Ruth. Not sure if you remember me...it's been over five years since I posted anything. The times that I did, I always looked for your comments and suggestions. I've just been reading some of my poetry and comments made by you and by others. Just wanted you to know that after being away from it for years, I totally can understand what you meant. Wow! Are you still writing?
Ruth Bavetta Hi, Shirley. Glad to see you back. Since I resigned as one of the Poetry Contest judges, I'm not around much on the Poetry Group any more. If you scroll a bit you can see that I’ve had 2 books come out since you were around last. And I’ve another coming out in July. Are you still writing poetry?
