Jenni Schaefer Hi Sage - Thank you for joining the Facebook Live as well as our Life Without Ed® book group. I love having you a part of it. In the group, Heidi answered a very similar question beautifully here in the "Help! I Need Encouragement ASAP" section. Link here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... (Sept 14 post). So, you might look at that list! Also, to answer your question in my perspective, I ultimately learned that I had to reach out to someone NO MATTER WHAT! Often, I didn't feel like reaching out to someone. That is when I needed to reach out most. Ed will always discourage reaching out. Much of recovery is about feeling uncomfortable. We sit in discomfort in order to feel comfortable in the end. Hope this helps! Don't quit. All in all, my answer (albeit difficult to do) is: reach out anyway. You got this.
Jenni Schaefer Thanks for asking, Katrin! It wasn't until I entered recovery that I even thought about writing a book. Prior to recovery, my perfectionism led me to hate writing. (Writing isn't fun when it has to be perfect!) I actually dedicated an entire page on my website to this topic. Check it out: https://jennischaefer.com/resources/#... Hope this helps!
Jenni Schaefer I'm working on a book about fighting through PTSD. Here's a sneak peak of my story: https://themighty.com/2017/04/cant-ju...
