Well my most recent novella was based on a spin off character from my first two full length. He was someone I thought needed and deserved his own story. I always write about choices, there is always more than one choice in love and life. Black and white rarely exists in this world. I like to explore that with my characters.

It's a lot of work. Take your time and make sure your putting the best version of your work out there. I wish I'd slowed down on my first book but I was too excited and anxious.

Step away from the computer. Don't force it! It happens and you just have to trust that the flow will come back, usually when you least expect it. My ideas usually come while I run or in the car.
