Jodi Daynard Haha. I wish I could give a few juicy titles, but I'll be researching my next novel, so it will mainly be geeky American history stuff. But I'll post anything interesting...

Jodi Daynard Hi, Stephanie - as it just so happens, that's what the next novel in the trilogy is about. In it, Eliza recounts her childhood in Cambridge, her stay in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, how she falls in love with John Watkins, and...everything after that. Hopefully, it will be out next spring! I'll be posting updates here, on my FB author page, and on my website, jodidaynard.com. Thanks for asking!

Update: Since you asked this question, book 2 has been scheduled for FEBRUARY 2016 publication.

Jodi Daynard Usually by doing historical research.
Jodi Daynard The third volume of the Midwife trilogy
Jodi Daynard If you need to write, then you'll have the tenacity it takes to become good and/or successful at it. If you don't need to write, the whole messy enterprise may not be for you.
Jodi Daynard Fulfilling my need to be creative.
Jodi Daynard I don't get it, because I'm always working from an outline.
