Chris Keniston I am so sorry to report that I don't. A friend who bakes helped me with recommendations but she herself had never made any. But thank you for asking!
Chris Keniston I'd have to spend a week or two in Farraday Country so I could play cards with Aunt Eileen and taste the famous cake balls and then I'd fly to Kona and hang out a while at the dive shop, maybe ride along in the boats.
Chris Keniston hi! No it's not - I actually have a few more books planned I just had to put them on hold to get the new series out and established but you can expect another book or two in 2017 ! Was there someone in particular whose story you were waiting for?
Chris Keniston All of my books come from a combination of places. A character from an earlier book will start talking to me. Sometimes if they don't talk fast enough for my schedule I'll hit up my friends. Have you noticed I'm like that old song - I get by with a little help from my friends - Sometimes life gives me a nudge. In writing book 4 Dive into You- the hero Doug was not telling me what he'd been doing for the last few years. My friends tried but they didn't know either- then one day my daughter came home and said, mom I went sky diving. And I knew what Doug had been doing :)
Chris Keniston I'll look at a situation and think - there has to be a book in here somewhere and then I'm off and running. Otherwise it's something my author friends will mention in a brainstorming session.
Chris Keniston book five of the Aloha Series - Ava's story. Though I'm wanting to go back to a series I started and stopped a long time ago about five brothers in west texas. Just can't seem to write fast enough :)
Chris Keniston the same as for published writers - just keep writing. Don't stop. And surround yourself with good people that will tell you the truth and push you to do better.
Chris Keniston Oh that is difficult. Probably the feeling when you finish the last edit and have a book. It's cheaper than buying a new shiny car but the feeling is the same :)
Chris Keniston Cry? LOL - I usually call friends and try brainstorming over lunch or dinner. As a matter of fact we're meeting this tuesday to help me with the next ALoha book that is not cooperating!
