Tanja Tuma I like Kitty and Levin from Ana Karenina - so much hope for the future.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Tanja Tuma I have never had one. There might be a moment when I need more thinking about a particular turn, character, but no blocks.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Tanja Tuma My ideas grow from the present conflicts in society that have their roots in historical events. White and Red Cherries deal with WWII, collaboration and Communism, which splits Slovenia today.

Tanja Tuma Stories are hunting me everywhere. In principle, I sit at my table and write them down.

Tanja Tuma Second part of the Balkan Trilogy set in Istria, Slovenia and Croatia. My historical focus right now is 17th century.
