Read! Writer's block is what it is. It's like the hiccups, you can't turn it off and you can't prevent it. It will go away on it's own. So while I'm waiting for it to go away, I use my time wisely by enjoying someone else's lack of writer's block.

The best thing about 'writing' is the personal emotions within myself that I get to explore. (As a 'bottler' of emotions, this does wonders for me!) On the flip side of that, as a 'writer' the best thing is reaching others with those emotions. It feels amazing when readers contact me saying that a certain part really touched them on a personal level. That alone makes the headaches of writing worth it! It makes me feel like we all have a lot more in common than we think.

I like to take everyday encounters and embellish them. To me, that's the best way to pull in an audience. I believe there is a fine line between ordinary and extraordinary and playing with that line can be a lot of fun!

I'm currently working on a contemporary romance called THE OPPOSITE OF HATE. This novel is best classified as a 'romantic comedy' and features a female lead named Louise Greco. Louise can only be described as a 'bitch,' but none the less, she is the object of Damien Roberts' affection and he is determined to find out if she really does have a heart underneath that nasty demeanor. I'll admit, this one has been a blast to write!
