Aurora Whittet Hi Sofie, I'm out of my mind excited for Bloodmoon to get to readers! I am so proud of Ashling and all the gang. They are beautiful characters. :) I am currently working on a new novel that I'm adoring. It is currently on lock-down while I work on the manuscript, but it is a new world with new characters and I'm so excited to tell their story!
Aurora Whittet Hi Anne, Bloodmoon will publish March 20, 2016! Just in time for the Spring Equinox. :) Keep your eyes out the Cover Reveal and synopsis is coming the week of December 14th! :)
Aurora Whittet As all authors, I'm allergic to updating my site. :) HAHAH. The publish date had to be pushed out to March 20, 2016. Sometimes life kicks a girl when she's down, but I am proud to say the novel is amazing, life has settled down for me and the book is in the publishing process right now! :)
Aurora Whittet Hi! Thank you so much for the question. :) The cover reveal will come in August. Would you be interested in sharing it on your blog?
Aurora Whittet I'm working on the Bloodmark saga, book three and the saga came to me from my obsession with Celtic mythology, red heads, werewolves and love. So I researched my heart out and created the world of the Bloodmark Saga.
Aurora Whittet Write. You don't have to tell anyone you're doing it, so there is nothing to lose. So write. Write for you and once you've written so beautifully for you ask your best friends to read it and your mom, open up to those you love and trust. Take their feedback with an open heart, cry if you must, but then re-write. For nothing is good until it has been rewritten.
Aurora Whittet I will skip around the novel. I have a great and quite solid outline. So if I'm stumped somewhere how to connect things. I will move on to something else and dive into that, which tends to re-inspire me for the part that I was blocked on. Also time in nature is huge. All alone in a forest or climbing buttes all those things clear my mind and help me find my characters again.
Aurora Whittet I love being intimately acquainted with my characters and being there first hand as their adventures unfold. To be part of a world like that is incredible and humbling.
Aurora Whittet I draw inspiration from everything I see. I tend to be a watcher. So it's everything from the way someone moves to how the wind blows someones hairs and the shapes it creates. I'm inspired by all emotions. I am fascinated with nature and find myself the calmest when I am alone with the wind and trees. I find my best idea then. Nature plays a huge part in my life and in my books.
Aurora Whittet Bloodmoon, the third novel in the Bloodmark Saga. It is so delightful to spend time with Ashling and Grey again and all the characters good and bad. I love them all!
