I'm currently working on book 5, Greed Kills. Can't guarantee a 6th book - life tends to take me on it's own journey, so we'll have to see. Thanks for asking.

I would go the the Lord Peter Wimsey era, between WWI and WWII in England. Dorothy Sayers brings it to life so perfectly. I do recognize the social issues of that time, though, including sexism, classism and racism, and would not want to live there permanently. Working at the ad agency that Sayers skewers so well in Murder Must Advertise would be a hoot!

My love for reading started in childhood. I was the girl with her nose in a book! When my kids grew older and needed less of my time, I decided to take a leap of faith and try my hand at writing my own stories. Mysteries were what I enjoyed most, so that's where I started.
Producing a book is rather like carrying and birthing a child -- a lot of hard work, some pain, but at the end, a lovely baby. Nothing like opening a box with a stack of your books inside!

Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy of Austen's Pride and Prejudice are the winners for me. She is the very picture of a smart, spunky heroine, and he epitomizes the hero who is changed for the better by the woman he comes to love. (And when you consider either Laurence Olivier or Colin Firth as Darcy - oh, my!)

Setting my own hours, working in my pajamas, and the thrill of holding a published work with my name on it!

I'm at the beginning stages of writing the third Angelina Bonaparte mystery, Deception Kills. It concerns a minor character in the first book, and her continuing search for her missing husband.
