Truth Devour When I was six an old woman who lived down the road stopped me on my way home from kindergarten. (Yes, I used to walk home unescorted). This elderly woman asked if I could recite the story of her life. I sat down and gave her a complete breakdown of everything that I felt I knew. She smiled, nodded, thanked me and then I left to go home.

I never saw her again. After a a while I asked people what happened to the old lady ... They said no-one had lived there for years and the old woman who did once stay there had died a long time ago. When I described her they said, yes that's her.

I used to wonder why she wanted me to tell her what she already knew and later decided that perhaps this was her way of ensuring she would never being forgotten.

I won't forget her and now I suspect neither will you.
Truth Devour Hi Ella,

I'm glad you like the pen name. It came from my life philosophy of devouring thy own truth. It is a nice reminder to keep true to the core essence of being me.

Rise and set reminds me of the sun.

Apologies for the delay in replying. I never received a message notifying me I had anything pending.

Happy Creating!

Truth Devour Most of the stories including this one has been with me for a very long time. I have spent my life telling myself stories and only decided in 2013 to begin sharing them with the world.

Illuminarium is book one in the up coming five series and then I have an eight series to follow.

Here is what is planned for the Soliloquy's Labyrinth series of which Illuminarium is the first one:

Truth Devour 1. Yes I love writing. It's been a part of who I am for my lifetime. Historically a silent expression of self.

2. My inspiration is life and my take on it. A lot of the elements of my work reflect upon the life I have lead. Moments in time experienced that I felt worthy of sharing. So I tend to interweave a large portion of what is known to me within the pages of my stories.

3. Actually I haven't. I read them over and over during the editing process & one final time before it goes to print. At that stage I am ready to tell myself the next story. Perhaps at some stage I will read the whole trilogy from start to finish. At this stage there are some many works from other people I have on my secret list to read that I feel drawn to chipping away at those instead.

Thanks for asking the questions.
Truth Devour I don't tend to get writers block. When I am in the mood to write I can produce 20 to 40 pages within a couple of days. Then I get busy with life. Once inspired I add to it. I don't force myself or align to a schedule. I feel this squelches your creative abilities and puts undue pressure. In saying this I have targets and end dates that I work towards and for the most part achieve.
Truth Devour The freedom to escape into another world of your own creation. What can be better than that?
Truth Devour Its simple, just write and write and write until you produce something that feels right to you. I understand that not everything produced will be liked by all but that is not the aim. Not for me anyway. Just express and enjoy the process. Don't be deterred by negative critics. They too hold purpose.
Truth Devour My next series which I plan to have as five books are a secret. I want it to be a surprise. No spoilers folks !!!

:-P
Truth Devour I have been writing ever since I could pick up a pen. Poetry, lyrics, stories. It is just something that has been a part of my creative expression. I have written five other books that I haven't published. This romantic trilogy WANTIN, UNREQUITED & SATED are the first works that I have chosen to share with the world. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did writing them.
Truth Devour Sated is the final book in a romantic trilogy. I tend to write myself a story unplanned. This way its the best of both worlds for me. I get to experience what happens next with my own journey of thought. This is where my true escape into creative freedom resides.
