Hi Cate, Rgearing the Dark Series. I saw that it is a spin off after book 3 with 'Mackenzie'S Song' as the first book which I'm buying as well but I can't find the 2nd book 'Dangerous Deceptions' any where...Can you let me know what's up with the book? Thank you and OMG what a Great 5* series!! Lori

I do apologize for not getting back with you right away. Dangerous Deceptions had an original launch date of Feb. 2018. For professional and personal reasons it was delayed. I am happy to say it is finally back on track and will be out at the end of May 2018.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Cate McKoy I know this is going to sound strange, but I (touch wood) have never experienced writers' block. I knpw they say everyone experiences it, but, I truly never have yet. And, I don't want to know it lol. There have been days when I've been too tired, sick or annoyed to write, but never been unable.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Cate McKoy Feeling of accomplishment, I love typing 'The End'. Entertaining others, I love that feeling you get when someone likes your work and becomes a fan.

What are you currently working on?
Cate McKoy I am also a screenwriter. I've authored 3 screenplays so far. I am working on making my horror movie and my sci-fi movie into full length novels.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Cate McKoy It's a bit cliche but never give up. If you can, write every day while on a project, even if it's just a sentence.

How do you get inspired to write?
Cate McKoy A lot things can inspire me at any given moment. My kids, friends, boyfriend, a dream, an incident within my day

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Cate McKoy A very vivid dream I had. It was one of those where you're part sleep and part awake and you mind drives some of the events in the dream.
