Kenneth Eade "A Patriot's Act" is the heaviest novel I have ever written. As with all my legal thrillers, I research them as I would if I were presenting a case in court. That gives them more realism. I always wanted to write a story featuring the government run amuck on our civil rights in the name of the War on Terror. Two of the most appalling examples of this are the USA PATRIOT Act (commonly known as "The Patriot Act") and the indefinite detention of suspected terrorists without due process by law enforcement and the military.
Kenneth Eade I get inspiration from current events. As I research them and learn more about them, a story develops.
Kenneth Eade I'm working on "HOA wire," the third book in the Brent Marks Legal Thriller Series
Kenneth Eade I don't get writer's block. When I have inspiration, I write until I am exhausted. When I am thinking about what to write in an upcoming chapter of a book I am working on, I take a walk, and the fresh air and nature give rise to more inspiration.
