Sorry for the delay in replying. I've started a new series under a different pen name (Sloane Savage). The first book is out (Flight Risk) and I'm working on book 2. This series is Romantic Suspense.

I'll pick up another story, or brainstorm ideas with other writers friends until I get inspired to write something new. Sometimes it's just easiest to put the WIP down for a couple of days and regroup after a break.

The Devil's Assistant series was spawned by thinking of the life of an administrative assistant that works for the devil. It then exploded from there.

I get ideas from lots of things. I also brainstorm with other author friends and just start writing within one of my worlds to get inspired.

I've recently released book 2 in the Devil's Assistant series, Dark Awakened. I'm currently re-editing my first two books, Keegan's Point and Nowhere, NJ. I plan to continue working on book 3 in January.

I post writer specific stuff on my website under the writers tab ... but the best general advice would be to never give up ... if the first attempt doesn't work, keep trying. I started two books (never finished) before finally completing a 40,000 word novella (Keegan's Point) ... and it's never to late to start, just do it!
