Traci Andrighetti Hi Michelle, I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier. Limoncello Yellow has been optioned for a screenplay, but it could take years before the movie happens. Fingers crossed that someone picks it up soon!
Traci Andrighetti I would go to Commissario Salvo Montalbano's town of Vigata in Sicily and help him solve crimes.
Traci Andrighetti The mystery of how I went from teaching Italian to writing books!
Traci Andrighetti I just start writing ideas until I find one that works. But if you don't write something, you might not get over the hump.
Traci Andrighetti The finished product is my favorite part. I like seeing the covers of the books I've written. It's really fun.
Traci Andrighetti Outline a book—at least your first one. After you have it mapped out, you have no excuse not to write it. And don't waste time trying to make it perfect. A good editor will help you fix any problems, so just turn it in and wait to see what the expert tells you to do.
Traci Andrighetti AMARETTO AMBER, which is the third Franki Amato mystery, is about a murder at a New Orleans strip club. I got the idea for the book when I had to use the restroom in a Bourbon Street strip club one morning before it opened. The bathroom turned out to be the girls' dressing room, and the toilet was right out in the open (no stall!). I watched in fascination as nude and half-dressed women attacked a bucket of friend chicken that a male employee brought in. And I decided to write a book based on that scene.
Traci Andrighetti I put on a red, white, and green Mardi Gras bead necklace that says "I (heart) Italians." LOL
Traci Andrighetti FRAGOLINO FUCHSIA, a short story featuring Franki Amato. Franki is investigating the disappearance of her office research assistant, David Savoie, and his friend "the vassal" during a spring break trip in Rome.

I'm having a blast writing about Italy, and I'm using this story to debut new characters for as many as two future series.
