C.A. Gray Hi Abigail, glad you liked Uncanny Valley! For some reason I keep getting errors on The Silver Six for various other platforms, so at the moment it's just Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07.... I'll work on getting The Silver Six distributed more widely though. Thanks for your question! :)
C.A. Gray Depends on when you ask me and what story I'm into at the moment! For now... probably Jack and Kate from LOST. I was REALLY into their saga!
C.A. Gray I'm so glad you noticed!! The point is that the truth isn't always what you think it might be... look closer. (That was going to be my tag line, should I have one: look closer, look again, take a second look... something to that effect.) The flame is supposed to represent truth or reality... and the pen, of course, represents writing. :)
C.A. Gray Hi Grace -- sorry for the tardy reply! I hadn't planned on it, but if there's enough interest I could probably be persuaded to do that. :)
C.A. Gray Writing is a skill like anything else. You get better with practice, and by reading a lot. Anything you want to get good at takes a lot of work... if you really want to write, you can make it happen. You just have to be committed.
C.A. Gray It's a right-brained escape from the rest of my life (which is much more left-brained)! Also, I get to be a control freak. (Real life doesn't seem to bend to my will nearly as nicely.) ;)
C.A. Gray I've been struggling with this a lot lately, as I work on my next series. Honestly, I just push through it and write anyway. I'm usually not as efficient on the days when I'm not feeling it, but I know I don't want to lose my momentum.
C.A. Gray I do a lot of research. Most of my ideas are sparked by something (non-fiction) that I have either read or watched. Then I think, "Wouldn't it be interesting if I took that idea and did THIS with it?" And then I start outlining.
C.A. Gray The one I'm working on now came from a few different places: 1) the dystopian fascination (I love it too!); 2) an economics video my boyfriend showed me; 3) A conversation with my mom (tossing around ideas); and 4) Some helpful advice from my editor on how to write the specifics. I'm about 40 pages in so far, but I've written out the entire outline!
