If you're interested in writing, my best advice is simple: write regularly. Set up a realistic schedule and practice meeting self-imposed deadlines. Once you have some content, publish it. Anywhere really, but think about where people read similar content. Then start reaching out to other writers who share your genre. Continue nurturing a community. Write something bigger. The biggest roadblock will be stopping. Just keep writing.
