I am SO sorry I only just saw this question, I am very rarely on Goodreads. Sorry too as I couldn't possibly pick one ;) although I have a soft spot for the first, as it's the start of the whole adventure... Happy reading! x

Hehe no question about Michi is irrelevant ;) he's a Japanese Spitz dog. And yes, he does look like an Arctic fox! We love him x

Hi Alex, thank you so much! Unfortunately there are no current plans for more Survivors books, but you never know :) and there _are_ plans for an ebook of The Tygrine Cat! Yay! Watch this space :) thanks again for getting in touch x

Sorry sorry for taking so long to see this and respond! I have been focused on different stories recently, but I will almost certainly write more books like Foxcraft -- although probably not about foxes for the time being. Fantasy adventure stories, oh yes... !

I am SO SORRY about the lag, I haven't logged into Goodreads for the longest time. In case you see this, his name is Michi and he's a Japanese Spitz :)

What a lovely message, I am SO sorry that I only just saw it as I don't think I've logged onto Goodreads in a year! I hope you have had some uninterrupted reading time :) I'm not sure what you mean about writing what I did at the end of each book - but I can tell you why I wanted to write about foxes. I became fascinated with these beautiful animals when I saw them on the streets of London where I lived. I was intrigued by how these elegant animals appeared to spring out from nowhere – a flash of deep red pelt, a white tail tip – only to vanish into the night. I began to read about the fox’s role in folklore. Time and again, the fox was the bad guy (do you remember the story of the gingerbread man?). I felt that these beautiful animals were misunderstood and I wanted to tell their story.
This question contains spoilers...
(view spoiler)[I have read the Foxcraft series and I wanted to just beg you for a sequel book, just one teeny-tiny sequel that tells the story of the mage coming back maybe and Siffrin and Isla's foxlings, please? Please? (hide spoiler)]

Oh Rebecca, I'm so sorry, I come here very rarely and only just saw your comment. Sorry too as there are no current plans for further Foxcraft books, although I love the idea of a book about the foxlings, and would love to check in with the wolves too... Maybe one day :) xxx

Hello, I'm so sorry for the delay, I haven't been on Goodreads in aaaaages! I'm so happy to hear that I'm your favourite author :) that means a lot to me. I'm sorry to say that there are no plans for further Foxcraft books at the moment... Maybe one day! For now, I'm working on a new fantasy story. Thanks for getting in touch x Inbali

Thanks for your question! I became totally fascinated with urban foxes when I moved to central London. I regularly saw them prowling around the streets of my neighbourhood. I was intrigued by how these elegant animals appeared to materialise from nowhere – a flash of deep red pelt, a white tail tip – only to vanish into the night. I began to read about the fox’s role in folklore. Time and again, the fox was depicted as cunning, selfish and untrustworthy. I knew this beautiful animal was misunderstood and I wanted to tell her story. That's how it all began... :)

Aw thank you Bernadette. The Tygrine Cat was my first book and Mati is always close to my heart. I truly hope to be able to conclude his story one day... But I doubt it will be any time soon. I'm sorry not to have better news. I like to think that Mati is still out there, perhaps in the desert, preparing for that final confrontation with the Sa Mau... x

Hi Zoe, I'm SO sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you, I am hardly ever here. Great that you're a Survivors fan. No spoilers, though ;) I am sure the truth will come out in the end *mysterious face*

Hello! Foxcraft is a trilogy. I have just been through the copyedits for Foxcraft 3, the third and final book, which is out later this year. I hope my foxes find a good home among your readers :)

Hello! Great to hear from a fellow writer :) sorry for the delay, I haven't logged on for a while (I've been busily writing Foxcraft 3!).
These days most writers use agents to place their books with publishers. The process is quite competitive and can take time, so prepare for a long journey and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised. In the UK there's a book called The Writers' & Artists' Yearbook that it sets out the process to publication and has listings of agents and publishers. Most libraries have this kind of book so pop into your local library and see what they have.
You'll need to find an agent/publisher who publishes the type of stories you write - for example, some only work with non-fiction, or publish thrillers but not romance. Be passionate and determined, it can be a tough business. Don't give up! xx Inbali
