Alas, no, but she will appear in a fifth book if and when I get around to writing it! <3
Charlie N. Holmberg
I hope so too! I have half of a fifth book outlined... we'll see what happens!

(view spoiler)[I absolutely loved your paper magician series and the plastic magician. I have two questions: Did Ceony bend to freeze Lira? and is there going to be more books in the universe, because I would love to have Alvie and Ceony interact more. But any more books in general would just be amazing. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Yes, she did. ;) And hopefully one more Paper Magician book will happen, with both of them in it. :) (hide spoiler)]

I hesitate to answer #1 in case I need to, er, bend it for a future book. XD Graduation happens in late spring and apprentices are placed as quickly as possible!

I would really love to do a fifth and final book. Time will tell. And thank you SO MUCH for reading and loving the books! It means a lot to me.
Charlie N. Holmberg
Thank you so much!! There may be one more book in the Spellbreaker series... and in the Paper Magician series... we just have to wait for my brain to cooperate XD <3

Thank you!! I do have ideas for a third book, but I can't promise when or if it would happen. It would follow a certain character mentioned in the end of Spellmaker. <3
Charlie N. Holmberg
I'm afraid I'm loathe to post personal information like that on a public forum. ;)

Hi Nichole!
If and when a fifth and final Paper Magician book is born, I promise she will be in it (and getting into much trouble). :)

(view spoiler)[The Paper Magician Series literally rocked my world. I read the entire series twice and I still can't get enough. Can you tell me how you came up with the idea of the series? The love story between Emery and Ceony was the sweetest thing to experience and read. (hide spoiler)]
Charlie N. Holmberg
Thank you, Liv! How sweet!
Honestly, it started from the idea of, "Wouldn't it be cool if this paper crane could just come to life?" And Emery just popped into my head. I saw him as a side character to a bigger story, but later decided to make the story about paper magic. I honestly can't remember exactly how I planned the romance . . . that short term memory has since been dumped. But if I could find the notebook I used for brainstorming, maybe . . . .

If a fifth (and final) Magician book happens, I promise she will be in it. :)

Hi! At one point I did. I have ideas for a Binder and a Pyre. But whether or not they come to fruition will depend on my own inspiration and legalities with certain film rights. :)
Charlie N. Holmberg
Hey Russell! I apologize for the delay in response--apparently I don't get notifications for these. The answer is that I do have ideas for a fifth book that would address all of these. Just waiting for the right time (for me) to write it!
Honestly, I like Folding the best. But I do think Pyres are Bad-A. ;)

Hi Rory!
I get this question a lot. Will there be more?
Maybe.
Do I have ideas for a fifth (and final) book? Yes, I do. Does it resolve an issue from the original trilogy AND use something from The Plastic Magician to connect it? Yes it does.
In truth, I'm waiting for my brain and inspiration to come around and write it. I'm hoping that happens soon. :)

Hi Kirsten! Honestly, for me, I'm always ready to move on to the next thing. The next character, the next world, the next story. Series can sometimes be hard for me for that very reason--I want something new! (This also applies to dinners. I can never settle on a set collection of recipes... ;) )
Thanks for reading all my books! <3

Why thank you. ;)
Is there a chance? Only if Followed by Frost suddenly does tremendously well and my publisher demands a sequel. ;) I do absolutely have ideas for a companion novel, and yes, Sadriel is the main character. ;) But will it happen? Likely not. :/

I... have no idea. XD I know that's super helpful. I know nothing about Kobo, though I believe it's used among indie authors? IF that's the case, than probably not.

(view spoiler)[When I was brainstorming for what each doll would represent, I came up with that number. I knew I wanted Matrona herself to be the last one. I ended up playing with Freudian psychology to determine what the others would be. I also knew that too many dolls would make the story drag and too few would make it too quick, so five ended up being the lucky number! :) (hide spoiler)]

Sorry for the delay in answering! One of the reasons I write so many standalones is so I don't overwork an idea to the point of not loving it. Though sometimes I just... breakup with a story (last year I stopped working on a novel I had already written 68,000 words on. It was sad). It doesn't happen often, thank goodness, but when it happens I try to accept it and move on. If I've lost interest, maybe the reader would have, too.

Yes, Plastic Magician will be on Audible, though with a new narrator. It's available for preorder now. :)
