Easiest question I've ever been asked - my favorite fictional couple is Elio and Oliver from Aciman's Call Me By Your Name. They are both sweet, sexy, and infuriatingly real. Also - I love peaches.

Thanks for the question, Angelo!
I plan to release 4 books this year. "Pup Tent," which I've been lying to readers about for months, will finally be released. I'm also putting out a book that is tentatively titled, "The Leading Men." I'm quite excited about it as it is very far removed from what readers expect from me. It's quite bleak and even has a nice, juicy murder. "Echo Road" will be my first YA/NA book. Finally, the story of Mason and Shane will come to a close with some wedding bells. It's time Mason tossed the cardigan and put on a tux!

Oh, no! I have to decide? Okay, here goes -
1. Call Me by Your Name by Andre Aciman
2. Comfort and Joy by Jim Grimsley
3. The Gentleman and the Rogue by Bonnie Dee
4. Carry the Ocean by Heidi Cullinan
5. How to Howl at the Moon by Eli Easton
6. The Mating of Michael by Eli Easton
7. Muscling Through by J.L. Merrow
8. Snowball in Hell by Josh Lanyon
9. How to Raise an Honest Rabbit by Amy Lane
10. The Whyborne and Griffin Series by Jordan L. Hawk
I know I cheated by including a whole series, but that series deserves it.

Hi, Sherry!
Thanks for the question. I'm working on other stuff right now, but I do have quite a bit of material for Mason and Shane written up. They will definitely return someday soon.

Hi, Belf!
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, my answer is very boring. I have a strict schedule for writing; I have language lessons first thing in the morning, followed by a workout and then writing so, my writing "snack" is a protein shake.
I think you might like my favorite reading snacks better; they are smoked almonds on weeknights and apples dunked in Nutella on weekends. I'm also a big fan of Pilsner Urquell and Red Stripe beer.

Mason and Shane will be reappearing on Valentine's Day. Most folks will read a highly edited version of around 150 pages, but you, Preston, are getting a personal copy of the full shebang!

Hi, Latashia! Thanks for writing. I don't want you to ruin your kindle with tears, so I'm happy to say that Mason and Shane will be back in the spring of 2015.
The only books that are real in Beauty and the Bookworm are the obvious ones, like War and Peace. Easter Lust and the other silly titles are the products of my twisted sense of humor. But... I've received so many emails asking for Easter Lust that I did do an outline for it and hopefully someday I will put it out as a freebie.
Thanks again for writing!

Thanks for the question, Dan.
Pup Tent is just about ready to go. I have to admit that I let it get seriously out of hand and wrote too much, but I've been steadily editing it down to a reader-friendly length and I hope to release it before the end of the month.

Hi, Preston!
Thanks for the question. Yes, Mason has a lot more to say. I'm madly in love with Paris (which means Mason is, too) so he and Shane will be taking that city by storm in the spring. Shane will be climbing the Eiffel Tower while Mason looks for a nice book store. I'm having fun writing it and I hope you'll have fun reading it.

Oh, Cat, that is a very good question and very easy to answer! I wish I had come up with Whyborne of Whyborne and Griffin. In fact, I wish I'd come up with Griffin, too. I'll just go right ahead and say I wish I had written the whole series. Jordan L. Hawk writes the kinds of books that I love to read and wish I could write.

Hi, Kylie!
Thanks for your question. I am very active on GR as a reader, as you noticed. I am one of those poor, unfortunate souls suffering from a GR addiction. I thought about forming a support group, but I'm too busy on GR to do it.
To your question, yes, interacting with other readers does inform my writing in many ways. Mainly, I would say that GR has helped me learn what other readers enjoy and what drives them crazy when reading a book. I've tried my best to incorporate that knowledge into new work.
Another more fun way in which interacting with other readers has influenced my writing is through the great friends I have made on GR. As you know, GR has a delightful mix of personalities. I have not been able to stop myself from incorporating a few of those personalities into my books.
I hope I answered your question and thanks again!

"GR has a delightful mix of personalities." Haha. Non-PC translation: "Whack jobs, the lot of us." But that's what makes it so fun.
And if I were a wri "GR has a delightful mix of personalities." Haha. Non-PC translation: "Whack jobs, the lot of us." But that's what makes it so fun.
And if I were a writer, I'd be scared t death of the snarky, witty, sometimes downright bitchy critiques. *cringe* I really admire people who can put themselves out there like that. : ) ...more

Hi, Carole.
Thanks so much for your question. I wrote Billy's Turn for a cousin who has the same physical condition as Billy and is also gay. He's had a tough time in the love department, but is the one person in my life I consider most deserving of an HEA. Billy's Turn was my writer's attempt at fulfilling all the wishes I have for him.

Thank you, Kathleen! I'm glad you had fun with Mason and his pals.

Thanks for the question, Jane. Yes, I have read all those dusty old Russians. I loved every single one of those books. Russians dominated serious literature for many years and the books you mentioned are the reason why. I also loved "Lolita" by Nabokov and a play, "The Cherry Orchard" by Chekhov.

I wish I had a magical answer for this question, but I do not. All I can tell anyone suffering from writer's block is to just step away from the keyboard for a while. Live your life - your "voice" will return as mysteriously as it disappeared.
