Take a break. Universally, I only get writer's block when I've put too much pressure on myself. If I stop, take a break, and let myself come back to the project relaxed, I always have a better time of it.

Being able to have an impact on your readers. You can influence their emotions and make their life a better place, even if its only for a few moments. Its a huge responsibility, and a great honor that they allow you in to have that effect. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Be persistent. Keep writing. And find a good editor. Someone you trust and who will be brutally honest. Don't deceive yourself that you're better than you are, but have enough confidence in yourself that you can make it better.

"Undeliverable" was inspired by an article I found talking about the Lost Letters Office of the Post Office. I asked myself what kind of story could take place in such a rich setting and Ben answered.
