Timothy Ellis At this time, there is only a note for a future book for them, and no real idea to follow yet. But yes, they are a loose thread. So sorry, but on the 'later' list for now.
Timothy Ellis There is a poster of all the covers on each Amazon book page, and in the back of each book.

That is the recommended reading order.

I also post them periodically on my Facebook Hunter Imperium page, and Hunter Imperium Universe group.

The Amazon book pages get updated with each new book. You just have to scroll down a bit to get the poster.
Timothy Ellis No, AI Destiny is not going to be made into audiobooks any time soon. Sorry.
Timothy Ellis The only 3 books scheduled for production at the moment are the 3 Dragon Host novels. Hunter Imperium was never picked up for production, and Book 6 on of Imperium Galactic were not picked up either.
Sorry, it's not good news.
I'm hoping in the future that AI narration will improve enough and be available to me to bring out all the rest. (What is available now that's any good is not available to me.)
Audible is still the problem making audiobooks pay too little to be worth the huge cost of making.
Timothy Ellis Which book?
Also, how are you reading? Recent buy? Re-read of an older series? Reading through KU, but downloaded a long time ago?

Yes I have a proofreader, but most of series 4 and before was without one. The early couple of series have been re-edited, but not since my own proofing skills improved a lot.

All the books get any errors flagged by Amazon fixed. So if you highlight some, and they notify me, they will get fixed. But you have to manually update them after they get updated.

The other problem is after updating, apparently KU never gives you the updated version, only the version you downloaded the first time. So anyone re-reading one of the early series may never see the updated versions. Amazon won't say why they do that.

If I receive notifications of goofs, I do fix them. On Facebook, I put a thread in my universe group and page for each new book in case I did miss something. And I can always be sent anything privately though Facebook Messenger. All I need is the book, a short search term, and the suggested fix.
Timothy Ellis I'm re-looking at audiobooks for series 2, 4 and 5 at the moment. If they get done, they won't be going on audible though until they clean up their act.

I'm exclusive to Amazon, so they are the only ones who can do series packs. I don't think they do though. Although in the US, you can buy off the series pages.

The main reason for doing series packs of anything is because they stop selling individually, and all of my books still sell. The bundles I tried for series 1 never performed as well as the original books.

I am researching how to do whole series in the minimum number of paperbacks though. If I can figure out to get 5 or 6 books into a single paperback, I may offer them. But it doesn't pay to offer them as an eBook on Amazon.
Timothy Ellis The producer of the audiobooks for series 1 and 3 decided not to continue with more.

While I'd like to see all of my books as audiobooks, the cost of doing it myself isn't viable at this time, especially with the way Audible is currently treating authors. (Big scandal in author circles about this at the moment.) The returns on self financed audiobooks are simply not good enough to warrant the substantial expense.

I wish I had the voice to do them myself, but alas, my voice and reading aloud ability is not good enough.

At some point in the future I hope they get done, but at the moment, there are no plans. But I do keep looking at this every year, so I hold out hope something might change.
Timothy Ellis I hope so, but at this point in time, there are no plans in progress.

When it does happen, there will be an announcement in my Facebook group and on the universe page.

For now, it's a matter of figuring out how to get them done.
Timothy Ellis All my books are in KU now, and have been since mid 2018.

Back in later 2017, KU had a major bug in it, and I wasn't being paid properly, so made the decision to pull out and try being wide. But the bug was fixed around March 2018, and my books all went back in, with the exception of 2 games handbooks.

At the moment I'm quite happy with KU, and have no plans to leave it again. All my new releases go straight into KU, and are available on day 1.

To make sure you know about a new release, either join the mailing list using the link in the back of each book, or join my Facebook group or Page, also linked in the back of each book. Those in FB find out a new release is coming s soon as it goes into final editing, and get a release notice as soon as it is uploaded to Kindle. The email goes out as soon as I get the live link.

I'm also happy if readers also buy the book. But to do so, you need to buy it a month after reading it in KU, or I don't get paid for KU. I'm very thankful for those who do this.
Timothy Ellis It is in production now, and should be out within the next 6 weeks or so. Book 3 about another 6 to 8 weeks after that.

Hero at Large is also out. Book 2 is in production now, about 4-6 weeks away I think, with a 6-8 week schedule for books 3 to 5.
Timothy Ellis I'm aiming for the end of April, beginning of May.

But as usual with me, health issues may push that back. I'm certainly trying to get it written as soon as I can.

The best thing to do for being notified, is join my mailing list, and ensure your email provider will deliver a mailchimp email to you. (Some of the webmail providers don't, and don't even tell you they haven't.) Emails go out as soon as I have the new URL.

Facebook posts go into the Hunter Legacy group and page several days earlier when a book is in final editing, but FB is unreliable in passing those on, so you need to be checking it regularly to see them. FB group members tend to know within minutes of the book going live on Amazon, and sometimes even before I do, so someone will post the url as soon as it's known.
Timothy Ellis Short version:
The payout per page read dropped so low, the gap between the royalty on a sale, and the full read of the same book grew too large.
At the same time, reads in Page Flip mode are no longer counted, and so the author is no longer paid for whole reads of books, and in fact whole series.
The whole thing came to a crunch point on Aug 1, when Amazon introduced what they call KUv3. The following day my income dropped 30%, and stayed there. It took a month to figure out why and see nothing was going to change. Amazon say there is no problem. There is. And this was the second 30% down adjustment Amazon made in just over 1 year.
I pulled out, since I do not view KU as being 'free books'. Its a subscription service, everyone pays for the use of it, and the author gets paid as well. But it no longer pays enough.

I seriously wish I could remain in, but selling books puts food on my table and pays the mortgage, and KU kept paying me less and less for more and more, cannibalizing sales, and paying me nothing for them.

All authors will face this decision at some stage. KU has been losing good authors for 2 years now. This will continue, unless Amazon fix what has become a seriously broken system.

Long version posted on Quora, from an email I sent to my mailing list:

Timothy Ellis Gaia 3.

A paradise planet, protected from exploitation.

One could get back to nature, without losing tech, since the tech no longer pollutes.
Timothy Ellis Season makes no difference to me. I read much the same all year long. Reading breaks up writing, and helps keep me sane.

There is nothing specific on my reading list at the moment, having just finished my last download. It depends what catches my eye at any given time.

However, I will be reading the next offerings of the following authors, all of whom have next in series I'm waiting for: Nathan Lowell, Glynn Stewart, Annie Bellet, L.E. Modesitt Jr., Ilona Andrews, and Zen DiPietro.
Timothy Ellis There could be a book from the higher beings perspective on how they kept knocking me down before I finally opened up to my spiritual side. The life on my side wouldn't make a good book, but what was going on 'up there' could.

Otherwise, not a lot of mysteries in my life.
Timothy Ellis The next series is a spin off series, set in the Gaia galaxy from the moment Hero to the End finishes. 'Admiral Jane' starts a new series called 'AI Destiny', initially designed as a trilogy. I'm waiting on the cover, so I hope it will be released in the next few days.

I also have a trilogy planned as a sequel to HL, and a new original idea I'm trying to bring into a full concept.

I deliberately left Hero to the End in two places, and hope to get both trilogies out this year.
Timothy Ellis I dont believe I have a favourite couple.

In fact, I'm hard pressed to recall any couples at all.

Timothy Ellis If you refer to "Find that place again", yes its a real song, written by Mark Watson and Michael Wise, and performed by Mark Watson.

It is available from www.angelearthmusic.com as a single track download.

You can also hear it as the soundtrack for a Mermaid video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xeoqp...

I play this quite regularly while in my car. Mark was delighted to give me permission to use the lyrics in my book.
