C.M. Subasic If I have writer's block I'm not looking in the right direction. I write in long form, rather than on the computer, I look out windows, I read. What proves most useful is asking questions such as "what's really going on, what do I really want to communicate?" I look at the relationships between characters: what does each of them want? C.M. Subasic The How Novel tour of the band is taking up quite a bit of my time. It is a sequel to the book in serial format. (Check it out on Medium.) I'm also working on a storybook for children and a play about Edward Snowden, Marshall McLuhan and privacy issues.

C.M. Subasic I was reading manuscripts for Hill Street Press in Athens while also learning about the town and the music scene. It is a truly magical place. Well, as I was reading book after book, looking for "stories about the South," I noticed one book was missing: a book about a band in Athens. So, I started to write it.
