I usually start writing something new. As in completely, off the top of my head, new. If I've been stuck in a certain spot in a story for longer than I'm comfortable with, I usually rewrite the troublesome part, starting over from the last point in the story that I was happy with, and I usually end up taking the story in a completely different direction than I planned to. Sometimes, you just have to let the story tell itself.

I'm constantly working on the concluding chapter of the "I Am Become Zombie" trilogy, but my main focus lately has been on a new piece that surrounds a paranoid writer who believes his new neighbors work for the devil. It's a lot of fun.
