Hi Caroline. It actually took me longer to edit Fantastik then it did for me to write the first draft. Over a course of two years I had Fantastik edited three times, two substantive edits and one copy. I used a company in Arizona called The Editorial Department and I would definitely recommend them to any new or established authors.

A short story series named The Harley Basil Chronicles. Part 1, A Return to Normalcy, can be found on Amazon Kindle. It's a series that when said and done will span about a forty-year period, earliest being 1879—Harley's youth, and cover three different continents while skillfully intertwining a network of complex, dark, yet likeable characters, all of them serial killers, all of them having a connection to Harley.

Believe in yourself, but realize that there's a price to pay to write anything and write it well. I will sometimes mull over a line, a paragraph, or scene for days or weeks, trying to capture the right emotion or essence of a moment.

I love creating emotion from a blank piece of paper. If you can feel it as you write it and rewrite it...than so will a reader.
